When.
Aurim Spa is an Italian family-run company born in the second half of the Seventies from the vision of the young Pasquale Auriemma together with his wife Luisa and brother Giuseppe, for the sale of fabrics for furnishings. Tireless and passionate, the family lived the golden hour of the design made in Italy, distributing its fabrics throughout the whole Country.
Growth.
Rapid growth soon involves the need for larger spaces: already in the early ’80s, they moved their activity to the current building, based in the industrial area of Cadoneghe, where it is structured – together with the commercial offices – also an important warehouse for the stock service, still in continuous evolution and expansion.
In the following years, Aurim – become a limited company in the meantime – set its own core business on the furnishing fabrics for the mass market, with a constantly wider offer in several product categories: from microfiber to jacquard, polyester to nanotechnological fabrics and polypropylene, eco-leather, velvets, natural linen fabrics and cotton.

Future.
In the mid-90s, it has been decisive the acquisition of its own textile production in the Brianza district, the historic heart of Italian furnishings, conceived as a stylistic forge where new textile trends and new products are studied and developed, as well as that of real production, with dozens of jacquard and ratier looms that work daily.
Today, Nice Srl produces yarns and fabrics for furnishings, completely made in Italy, having the main international certifications for its products, such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and Oekotex.
In the last fifteen years a long process of verticalization and innovation has been undertaken, leading Nice Srl to be today one of the most promising Italian entrepreneurial realities and strongly projected towards the internal development of new textile technologies, with a view to sustainability.
Currently, Nice Srl has extrusion, spinning, warping and weaving plants for highly technological fibres, derived from waste plastic and/or recycled (and in turn recyclable) materials, becoming, in fact, the only Italian textile company to having brought 90% of the production process in-house, from the yarn to the fabric.
Heart.
Nice srl textile manufacturing therefore becomes more and more the strategic fulcrum of the entire activity: while production was delocalized throughout the rest of Italy and Europe, Aurim swam against the tide together with Nice srl, bringing the production plant to grow vertically also thanks to the introduction of three new machines for the extrusion of polypropylene yarns, a fiber which at this point becomes the flagship of Nice srl, with a verticalized and centralized production process.
The latest impetus of Aurim in terms of honest sustainability is represented by the imNativ brand, in which are collected all the Aurim Collections made entirely within the Nice production plant, from the yarn to the finished fabric: manmade and at the same time recycled fabrics, recyclable, biodegradable.

In these first forty years of work, Aurim has been able to skilfully shape its business, day after day, becoming one of the most respected and reference historical Italian companies in the textile for furnishings sector, also thanks to the recent expansions in terms of acquisitions, becoming the Head of a Textile Group made up of various sister companies, all specialized in furnishing fabrics, each with its own identity, creative direction and reference markets.

Starting from 2023, a new chapter begins in the Group’s history: the establishment of ALCE S.p.A., the new Holding Company that consolidates and coordinates all the companies of the Group. ALCE S.p.A. was created to strengthen the Group’s structure, enhance synergies among its entities, and support industrial and strategic development toward sustainable and increasingly international growth.
Today, with an almost fully verticalized Italian production, consolidated subsidiaries, a stock service warehouse of approximately 20,000 square meters, and an in-house technical laboratory for product and material testing on every production batch, the Aurim Group – now ALCE S.p.A. – stands as the leading furnishing textile company in Italy and among the top players in Europe.
